Everything is still about the same here. Ron was able to go out to eat for breakfast. We bumped into our friends, Mike & LaJoyce. They joined us for a few minutes and caught us up on the local news.
Tonight, I ran by a local convenience store to pick up a bag of Ron's special ice that he likes and bumped into Fred, Willena & Freddie. It was nice to catch up with local friends even though it was brief because I needed to get home.
(1) The medical equipment people delivered a few things to our home today. (2) The hospice aide came and assisted Ron with shaving and other things he was able to delegate. (3) The nurse came to check vitals, meds & monitor his condition. (4) The social worker came to find out if we need/want anything. (5) His mother is still here making sure he does not need anything (6) I'm here too (smiling)
It's easy to see why Ron is so tired, huh?
Tomorrow should be a quieter day so Ron should be able to get more rest and/or things done that he wants to do.
Got to run--love to you all.
Joyce

Joyce,
You continue to be a giving person just as you have always been. It takes a lot of effort for you to continually update this blog regarding yours & Ron's daily activities. The same could be said about your regular posts on Facebook. All those who read these things are no doubt drawn closer to the two of you even though we know that there are many more things that you are doing & coping with daily. But it is loving of you to share this small peek into the daily life of both of you.
However, please remember that those who follow this blog love both you & Ron. Therefore, please feel free to share with us the less positive things that both you & Ron deal with daily if you should choose to do so. We are hear to offer whatever limited support that you may allow us to based on your wishes & circumstances. We know that both you & Ron are dealing with some of the most difficult circumstances in your life. When the times come that we can offer you more personal encouragement through visits or phone calls then please let us know. We all care & love both of you. But until then we will continue to honor your request to exchange only WRITTEN communication through email, Facebook & this blog.
I am sure that when I speak of the love of all those who follow this
blog that that is an accurate analysis. I know that both Cheryl & I love you & Ron very much.
Sincerely
Your Brother
Dale
We were so glad we ran into you at lunch yesterday. It was a good visit. Praying for you and that you will have a good day today. Just being together, even through bad times, is a blessing. Love you both.
