Not much time to write--trying to get a few small chores done that only I can do(post office, bank, bills, medicines & stuff like that)..then more time with Ron. Wanted everyone to know that today is better..hospice is working out great. I was extremely pleased that Ron DID NOT have to discontinue any of his meds when he went on hospice. He has only been on hospice since Saturday, but so far, we are very, very, very pleased with the services. If we had of known that Ron would not have had to discontinue the meds that he was/is on, we would most likely would have explored the hospice option several weeks ago. He is liking his "hospice" nurses but is missing his "home health" nurse!! (smiling)

Joyce, Perhaps there is a message here for all wives with very, very seriously ill husbands. Get him a team of nurses who has a sole purpose of providing comfort & care for him and he might perk up at least just a little bit. Wink wink
