UPDATE Tuesday, 5:00 p.m., June 14, 2011

Well, we just got home from our local hospital where Ron got his labs done.  He could hardly wait to get back home to get in bed.

I talked with Dr. Coward and he said he would sign an order requesting Home Health to do an in home evaluation.  The advantages of Home Health is that the nurse will come here to do blood draws for the lab, so Ron will not have to go to the local hospital.  The nurse can also give Ron his Octreotide shots that he gets every 10 days.  It will ease my mind knowing that I have a nurse available by phone anytime that I call.

Ron's health is continuing to decline.  Thanks for continuing to pray.

I am sorry Ron continues to feel bad. I assume an Amonia level was drawn today. An elevated Amonia level can result in lethargy and is produced when the liver is not functioning at capacity.
I continue to pray for Ron and yourself.

Kathy, I'm not sure wheter or not an amonia level was drawn, but I would assume so. Thanks, I'll double check. I did not see the orders because they were faxed to the hospital and I have not heard from the doctor since he viewed the results.

I plan to call Dr. Makhoul at UAMS when they open. Going to try to get the "parentesis" moved up for today. Ron is in a lot of discomfort.

Hope you and the kids are doing well.
