Not a very good day today. Ron is still very weak with a blood pressure that is hanging in the 80(s). The home health nurse & I are thinking that Ron is bordering dehydration, again. He really, really hates going to the hospital so he is trying to hold on until Dr. Coward gets back from vacation on Monday. At that time, I am sure he will sign orders for the home health nurse to draw some blood so Ron will not have to go to the hospital. Of course, if the blood work comes back indicating Ron needs to go to the hospital for treatment, I'm sure we will do so.
Everyone keeps talking about how strong I am but they do not know how I really feel. Seems like I am crying lots more these days. Thankfully, God is still in control.
On a more cheery note, today is our 5th Anniversary. I answered the door bell a few minutes ago to find our special friends, Norm and Marilyn singing "Happy Anniversary" & holding a plate full of homemade cookies. Those two know how to be a blessing with or without cookies. Thanks u two. Ron & I love you.

Joyce, you are a strong woman through the help or our Lord. I know you must have cried many times in private. How could you not? Your church family is always ready to hold you as you cry if you need us. We not only pray for Ron, but we also pray for you to have both strength and peace. We love you both and hurt for you and wish we could carry this burden for you. This being impossible, please let us know anything we can do to ease your burden. Anything at any time!!!!
Thanks,LaJoyce,
Today is a better day. The sleep last night must have helped.
Ron is feeling a little bit better. He ate a decent breakfast.
We even were able to drive over to Clinton for the Antique Car Show. I took a folding chair along. Ron looked at a few cars, walked a block and sat in the chair. We repeated those steps several times, but he got to enjoy the car show and being outside.
On the way home, I decided to take him the scenic route--across Banner Mountain. lol We have not been on that road for a few years. The slow, country drive was neat.
I know, you are thinking,"Wow, it doesn't take much to entertain those two". lol
Tell Mike that we enjoyed the bread.
AND by all means, thanks for your offer of "Anything at any time"!!!
One never knows when/if there will come a time that we may need something. So, I've been making a list of the people that I know that I can call 24/7 if needed. You guys are on that list!! It means a lot to know that we have friends that want to be of service.
We love you guys, Joyce
