UPDATE-RON'S MEDICAL UPDATE
Ron will be having more scans & testing on September 14 & 15. This will determine if the tumors are showing signs of shrinkage or if there is more growth. We are concerned because he continues to have bone pain, headaches, eye problems, nausea, flushing, heart palpatations, exhaustion and is loosing weight. In addition to that, he is VERY BORED since he is no longer working!

Hey girlfriend you did it!!! The blog looks great. Glad you had the time to get it done, been talking about it for a while. None of us know the road the Lord has for us to take. You and Ron have walked through many valleys and hilltops. You have been a great testimony to our Lord. Praying the tumors go away!
we love you guys

I think I have figured this out!! This is great and informative for Pam and me to keep up with you.

Thanks, Sherrie & Ken,
We are at the hotel here in LR tonight. Ron's day begins with the first appointment at 8:15 with several more throughout the day ending with an afternoon appt. with his oncologist. Getting ready to call it a day here as soon as I get off this thing.
Please pass the word to everyone to pray especially hard for Ron tomorrow--that there is no new problems and no growth in the tumors. Love y'all.

Hey Ben & Pam,
Great job, you did figure it out!!!
Welcome to our place!!!
Ben, Ron was glad to hear from you via the email yesterday. I think he got around to replying back. If not, it is on his "stuff to do list".

Thanks Q--Yes, we wanted the blog to be informative with resources for others in order that they might not have to do as much digging for information as we did. If at only helps, one, it will be worth the time spent working on the blog. Hope you guys are having a good day. Love y'all!

Joyce & Ron, Today I am reading this blog for the first time. It is so obvious that a lot of hard work to benefit others has gone into the construction of this blog. You both have always been generous people as Cheryl & I have been the recipients of some of your generosity and can certainly attest to it. When you look at all you have provided on this blog it is quite obvious that you have generously poured out your hearts & your minds to help others. The helpful tips & things to avoid when dealing with the medical system & the doctors is so frank & candid but so true & accurate for anyone dealing with such tragic health matters as the two of you have done during Ron's major illness.
Cheryl & I look forward to spending some time with you in the near future but until then please know that we do love both of you.

Dale, thank you for the kind words.

In regards to your commments about the information/resources that we have provided on the blog...we consider it an honor to be able to pass tidbits of information along to others in hopes that it will make their journey a little lighter.

I'm glad you were not here during the week that I first began working on the blog. I stomped my feet, pulled my hair, walked out and looked outside, took deep breaths, talked to myself and more!!!! You are right--it did take some time. (smiling)

We think about you and Cheryl many times during the day. I hope today is a good day for y'all!

Love ya, Bro, your sistah, Joyce
